If you would like to pay the Leave Encashment to your active employees, you can use this option.
You need to first ensure the encashable option, and the carry forward option of the leaves are enabled.
Go to Payroll-->Settings-->Leave-->Select the Leave-->> Click View/Edit.
The check box is enabled for “Is Encashable ?”
“Maximum carry forward at year-end” and the “Maximum days encashable ” is updated.
“ Encashable Formula” is updated.
Update the Encashment Days.
On the Home Page click “Transactions”.
Scroll down to Time Tracking, Management
Click “Leaves”.
Click “Update Leave Encashment Days” under “Workflow”.
Select the “Month” from the drop down.
Enter the “Employee Code/Name”.
Enter the “Last Encashed On” date.
The closing balance will be displayed.
Enter the number of days to be considered for Leave Encashment.
The amount will automatically populate in “ENCASH AMOUNT”.
Click “Save”.
For multiple employees, you can use the Import option.
Select the month.
Click “Import”.
Click “Download template here”.
Update the details and save the file to the local drive.
Click “Choose File”.
Click “Import”.
You also see the details of the data that was not uploaded in the “Export Failed List”.
Make the necessary changes and re-upload the file.
Note: The leave encashment days should be less than or equal to the Closing Balance or should be less than or equal to the maximum encashable leaves.
