All payments made outside the payroll are taxable, and the tax on them will also be deducted and remitted outside the payroll, such as a festival bonus or stock purchase.

We have the option to update such tax amounts deducted outside payroll.

On the Home Page click “Compliance”.   

 

 

Click “Income Tax”. 


 Click “Update Tax Deducted Outside” under “Process, Workflows”.

Select the Month in which the IT adjustment should be made. 

Enter the Employee code.  

Enter the Total tax amount that was deducted.

Enter the Surcharge and Cess amount.  

Click “Apply” and the data will be saved.

The data that is updated under this option will be considered for tax calculation and will be visible in your tax computation statement. 

 

You can import the data by clicking “IMPORT”. 

Select the “Month”. 

Click “Download template” 

Update the details and save the file to the local drive. 

Click  Choose File”. 

Click “Import”.
