ESI applicability depends on the location of the office or factory. There are specific locations where the ESI contribution is different when compared to other locations. Therefore we need to configure the ESI Rules location-wise.
On the Home Page click “Compliance”.
Click “ESI” under “Compliance”.
Click “ESI Rules” under “Configuration, Settings”.
Click the “View/Edit” option against the location.
Enter the “ESI Number”.
Select the “ESI type” from the drop-down menu.
Standard Contribution: Standard contribution will have 0.75% and 3.25%.
Reduced Contribution: Reduced contribution rate of 1% and 3% Contribution applicable only for first-time ESI implemented areas as per ESI Notification.
Click “Save”.
