The PF contribution which is deducted monthly from the employees must be remitted to the department along with the employer contribution every month, on or before the 15th of the following month.
On the Home Page click “Compliance”.
Click “Provident Fund” under “Compliance”.
Click “PF- Monthly Return” under “Reports”.
Select the “Month” from the drop-down.
Select the “Branch” or check the box “All Branches”.
Choose the “Criteria”.
Select a specific criterion or click “Select All”.
Click “Add and Apply Criteria”.
Select the “Main List” and check on the double arrow to move them to the selected list.
Check the “UDF Selection”. (User-Defined fields). To know more about user-defined fields, please click here.
Select the UDF i.e., if you have created any specific fields and would like your report to be generated based on these fields.
The fields and the criteria chosen will be displayed.

Click the “PF- MIS Report” drop-down option:
- ECR Excel
- ECR Notepad
- Arrear ECR Excel
- Arrear ECR Notepad
ECR is the short form for Electronic Challan cum Return to be filed by you every month on the PF website.
Click “Download” to download the reports.
