By default, the Manager is configured as an Approver for all Leave types. In case you need to add different levels of approvers for any Leave Type, then you need to configure the additional leave workflow.

 

Follow the below steps to configure the workflow.

On the home page click “Settings”.

Click “Leaves”

Click “Manage Leave Workflow”.

Click “Add new” to create a workflow.

Enter the name of the workflow policy.

Select the number of approvals required. You can choose between 1 to 6.

Depending on the number of approvers selected, the number of rows will be displayed.

You have the option to select Manager, Manager’s Manager, or Custom from the drop-down.

On selecting Manager /Manager’s manager from the drop-down, the approver will be automatically assigned as per the employees’ master records in the system.

On selecting “Custom”, a List of all employees who have been mapped as managers will be displayed. You need to select the name from the user drop-down.

Click “Configure Rules”

Select “Auto Approve Leave Request or Auto Reject Leave Request”.

You can specify the number of days post which the auto-approve/reject should take place.

Click “Apply”.

Click “Save”.
