You have the option to adjust payment received outside payroll / waive part of the loan amount by following the below steps:

 

Go to Transactions >> Salary Loans and Advances >>Workflow>> Manage Payments

 

Select the Criteria from the drop-down by providing the “Condition”.

E.g., Employee name starting with…

 

Select the Employee Name and Loan Name from the dropdown.


The Loan Amount, Till Now Paid Amount, and Remaining Amount will be displayed.


From the table select the Loan Installments that need to be settled. The Payable Amount field will auto-populate based on the selection and click Save.



 

Please Note: 

The loan amount will not be deducted in the subsequent months once you process the payroll for those months.

The amount received outside payroll should be in multiples of the principal Amount.
