Even if the Payroll is locked, the Employees are allowed to apply all types of Leaves except LOP. This is because of the following reasons:

  • There are chances Employees may have forgotten to apply Leaves earlier
  • Despite Employees applying for Leaves, there is no chance of any pay-outs getting changed


 

The Employees cannot apply for LOP for the previous months because:

  • LOP means Leave without Pay and the Employees should not receive salary for these days.
  • If LOP is updated for the previous month, it will impact the statutory deduction.
